Directions:
- Paint the base of the wood ornament* with barn red acrylic paint*.
- Use a gold paint marker* to color the top of the ornament gold.
- Lightly sand the ornament with an extra fine sanding block* to smooth the surface.
- Wipe the ornament with a clean, smooth rag.
- For a shiny finish, paint the ornament with Mod Podge Satin* finish.
- Allow the ornament to dry.
- I cut the words and green swag out of Ultra Metallic Glitter Vinyl using an SVG file from the Silhouette Store and a Silhouette Electronic Die-Cutting Machine*.
- Weed out the excess vinyl from around the design using a vinyl weeding tool.
- Place the transfer tape over the design and gently rub with a vinyl scraper tool to transfer the image onto the transfer tape*.
- Place the transfer tape* on the wood ornament and rub gently to transfer the design onto the ornament.
- Add a gold edge to the side of the ornament using a gold calligraphy pen or gold paint marker*.
Whether you use these as ornaments or gift toppers, they will add a handmade touch to your holiday celebrations.
Happy crafting, and may your holidays be filled with creativity and joy!
