Sue’s Creative Workshop a little DIY, a little humor, a little life and a little bit me.
Hi, I’m Sue.
I am a mid-western, married, mother of three great kids; two married, one teen. I have three adorable grandsons, which are the objects of my attention, affection and the subjects in a lot of my scrapbooking.
I am a DIY, paper crafting, picture taking, creative kind of gal. (also kind of a organizing nut) I love to find good junk to re-purpose into great treasures.
I have a eclectic style. I like clean and simple, shabby, vintage and at times I like to get completely messy. I get a great deal of satisfaction out of creating for myself and others. Sit back and Enjoy.
You never know what I’ll come up with.
Still Curious? You might enjoy a post I wrote awhile back called:
Saw an article about how you use broken dishes, etc in stepping stones and it mentioned you use a quick setting grout. What kind do you use? Thx – Linda
I used a quick setting cement for my stepping stones. I picked it up at Menards. It’s a little more expensive than the regular cement. It seems to mix and work a little better. At least for me and my project. It was called Rapid Set Concrete Mix. I hope this helps.
Looking at your wooden slice snowmen. I don’t sew so I was wondering if you could tell me how much cloth I will need for the cap and scarf?
Thanks
Sharon
It all depends on the size of your woodslice.
On mine I used a 1 1/4″ x 12″ strip of fabric for the scarf and a 3″ x 6″ piece of fabric for the hat.
