The newest issue of Craft Ideas Magazine arrived in the mail this week.
Even though I knew it was going to be in there, it’s still exciting to see one of your cards in print.
My dreams come true card using paper and stickers from Paper House Productions
is on page 71. With Spring Fever setting in big time this week, it was the perfect time to
receive the Spring Issue.
Make sure to pick up an issue for yourself.

Last Summer, for something different to do, I went fishing with the boys.
While the guys fished, I found a cozy spot under a tree and read a good book.
That’s the way I like to fish.
I made these layouts for The Paper Forest Design Team using Authentique’s Papers
Some of you may remember my family pictures that was taken on Easter.
I love all the silly shots we got that day. I think “captured” really fits on the layout below.
The caption reads:
Somebody got a little excited as Mom ran back and forth setting the camera on the tripod.
These layouts were made with Kaisercraft’s Dream Big Collection.
I recently started working with a new company called Smoothfoam.
Today, I have my first project and post on the Smoothfoam Blog, make sure to check out the project and how I made it here.
A quick share today. I’ve got my little buddy coming over in a little bit for a play day and sleep-over.
We’ve got big plans; Garden Shop, Playdoh, Break the Ice, the movie Frozen w/ popcorn, and dinner out with Grandpa. It’s going to be a good day.
This tag was made with Basic Grey’s Herbs & Honey Collection for The Paper Forest Design Team.
One of the things I look for when I go treasure hunting are picture frames. Square ones in particular. I am just drawn to square frames. Doesn’t matter how ugly the picture is inside.
I gave the gold frame a white wash look with Tim Holtz Distress Paint in Antique Linen. (frame cost .50)
I made a simple 3″ pinwheel using two different pinks from the “Herbs & Honey” Collection. The middle of the pinwheel was made using “bottle cap” stickers from the same collection.
What do you look for when you go treasure hunting? (I think that sounds better than garage sales)
There’s nothing better than spending quality time with someone you love.
I knew as soon as I saw the pictures from “Nick and Grandma’s Mini Garden”, our special project, they would make wonderful scrapbook pages. (see the original post here) Lucky for me, my design team packet for The Paper Forest was the garden themed collection “Herbs & Honey” from Basic Grey.
I choose to keep the layouts simple with a focus on the story and the pictures.
